This was an interview with Sebastian Aroca from Hispanic Market Advisors. We were talking about Digital Marketing topics, from SEO to AI and Hispanic Marketing in the USA, watch the videos and leave your comments at the HMA YouTube channel.

I asked Sebastian the following questions:

  1. Why do you specialize in offering Digital Marketing Services for the Hispanic Market in the USA? Why not on the general market instead? 

    Focusing on a niche market like the U.S. Hispanic market (rather than a general market) can offer several advantages in marketing, including Targeted Audience, Reduced Competition, Cost-Effective Marketing, Increased Customer Loyalty, and Expert Positioning.
  2. How has the Hispanic Market grown in the past ten years? 

    The U.S. Hispanic market has experienced significant growth over the last 10 years. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the Hispanic population in the United States reached 62.1 million in 2020, representing approximately 18.7% of the total population.
  3. What kind of services do you offer? What is the most demanded service? 

    Translation services, web design, public relation services, search engine optimization (SEO), and PPC campaigns are the most demanded services for my agency.
  4. Artificial Intelligence tools are now available, and nobody can deny that it’s having an impact on search engines. How do you see a future with SEO and AI? Can they co-exist? Are we going to experience a disruption here? How can marketers take advantage of these new AI tools? Let’s speculate a little bit about AI, Chat GPT, Co-Pilot, MidJourney, and all these AI Tools, and how they will shape the future. Will there be a revolution of humans vs machines, like in the movies? How will all of this affect Hispanic Marketing?

    Many people’s first reaction to new technology is fear. Many are afraid of being disrupted. I see it a bit differently. I think that SEO and AI can co-exist. We wrote a few articles in our website hispanicmarketadvisors.com with some AI use cases for SEO, including help ideas for FAQ section or blog, live chat, just to mention a few. 
  5. Hispanic are a very social community and active in social media; what is the most popular social network among Hispanics in the USA? What is a good strategy to approach Hispanic using Social Media? 

    As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the most popular social network among Hispanics in the USA was Facebook. Facebook has been widely adopted by the Hispanic community and has a large user base within this demographic. It provides a platform for connecting with friends and family, sharing content, and engaging with various communities.
  6. Will it continue to grow? How do you see Hispanic Market Advisors and yourself in the next ten years? 

    Continue growing and expand our services to serve the hispanic community in the United States.
  7. Any recommendations for a student or person moving to a marketing position? 

    Discover your passion, develop your skills, and focus on performing one marketing channel very well, until you master it. Only then, learn other marketing channels. When you try to do too much at once, you can end up not being the best you can be.
